THE ROLE The role of Procurement Packaging Senior Manager is to develop and execute a robust Packaging strategy for all the various plastic segments for the company. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the supply chain sourcing decisions and strategic choices in this area building upon previous corporate strategies and experience while shaping them to fit the needs of a smaller and more agile business. Today this Packaging segment represents a multi-Millions of US$ spend spread over 5 subcategories and over 20+ suppliers around the world. As such, you are responsible for driving strategy, savings initiatives, contract stewardship and business plans with discipline to deliver the fiscal year objectives as well as longer term interventions in the 3-5 years horizon. You will ensure appropriate support and alignment with regional and local teams, R&D, Operations, Supplier galaxy and Finance in the implementation and execution of the strategy and projects. You will build a cost efficient and agile supply to deliver sustainable savings, innovation focusing in particular on sustainable solutions and interventions, leveraging on industry dynamics and suppliers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design/ refine and implement new sourcing strategies and strategic interventions across the Packaging categories (Plastics & Global Aluminum tubes) to best serve the Wella Company Deliver fiscal year targets in 2026 and establish 3/5-year business plan for related spend Implement Supplier Relation Management program and drive Year on Year improvement in quality, service and value Support business plan to improve ethical and environmental sourcing Implement governance and control including contractual agreements and policies Develop in-depth category fact based from robust data analysis and cost modelling while building current and forward-looking Market / Industry intelligence Lead cross-functional teams to deliver effective value engineering programs QUALIFICATIONS First experience in Direct Procurement, at least 3 years Proven experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization Degree qualified preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or other relevant discipline High degree of fluency of English is required, French is a plus Key competencies and demonstrated skills: Result oriented, hands-on individual with solid track record Strategic thinking balanced with ability to execute Strong analytical skills and project management capabilities Ability to interact and work efficiently across supply chain Proven Influencing, Negotiation, Communication and Presentation skills Knowledge in executing sourcing of directs Able to travel to support the business WHAT MORE YOU CAN EXPECT AT WELLA Attractive salary package and a wide range of benefits (e.g. healthcare allowance as well as other benefits).
