In Switzerland, Estée Lauder has the main Supply Chain Hub for Travel Retail and EMEA.
In line with our Transportation & Logistics transformation strategy, we are now hiring a Transportation Logistics Performance Director for our Global Center of Excellence (CoE) in Wollerau, Switzerland.
In this newly created position, you will pilot the Transport Operational Master Plan ensuring that Global and Regional initiatives are delivered on time and budget, enabling and supporting the future business needs while delivering needed performance improvements (operationally and financially).
Your key responsibilities will include:
Drive and Monitor the Transportation Transformation PLan:
- Cascade the Global Transportation Strategy into a Global Transportation Operational Master plan
- Support The regions in building their own Operational Master plans and delivering the necessary initiatives to reach the peformance targets agreed
- Provide quarterly visbility to the Senior Supply Chain Leadership on the progress of the Transport Transformation Road Map
Drive and foster continous improvement and best practices:
- Deploy process standardization across the regional transportation ecosystems
- Partner cross functionally within and outside supply chain to ensure quality and service standards are met in transportation to deliver the brand value proposition
- Lead transportation continuous improvement practices by working closely with the regional transportation teams
- Support strategies to drive best practice for transport global sustainability, working with Quality / EHS and regional transport teams to ensure that sustainability/environmental targets are met.
- Research new transportation trends and solutions
Measure and drive operational performance internally and externally
- Responsible for building, defining and deploying a new Transportation performance framework
- Responsible for tracking newly defined Transportation KPIs and performance metrics globally
- Animating and driving the target setting process globally and with the regions
- Aggregating regional and global progress against KPI targets
Measure and report Transportation Financial performance:
- Support COE and Regional leads in financial reporting needs
- Support finance requests relating to transportation performance, cost and savings
- Track and manage cost/benefits analysis and contract attainment
Profil recherché
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7-8 years in Transport management, across all modes and geographies and/or financial analysis role
- Demonstrated Leadership skills (teams and/or projects)
- Ability to think strategically and align cross-functionally with stakeholders across multiple regions
- Strong project management skills required, as well as pragmatic, resourceful, and proactive mindset
- Process oriented with continuous improvement mindset; Lean/Six Sigma process techniques preferred
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and learning agility
- Proven capabilities to lead change and challenge status-quo
- Experience in fast paced, rapidly growing consumer goods industry preferred
- Experience in Omni channel delivery strategies
- Financial reporting, data analysis and reporting capabilities required. Strong excel skills required. Tableau preferred
- Experience working in SAP preferred, or other ERP system
