We are looking for a Technician for our Client Care Center in Dübendorf (Zurich area).

The Technician serves clients under the guidance of the Client Care Manager by performing repairs and troubleshooting any problems that arise with damaged luggage.

As a Technician at RIMOWA your role is to:

  • Identify and perform the repairs according our RIMOWA standards and communicate with our client care department to coordinate the special repairs or repairs which cannot be performed in the workshop.
  • Utilizing our repair management system to assist in organizing repairs, ordering parts, etc.
  • Be in charge of the organization of our workshop, including maintenance of machines and tools.
  • Inform clients about the repairs and advise clients across the brand and all products.
  • Meet KPI such as turn-around time and quality standard.
  • Build long-term relationships with our clientele by leveraging our tools to foster brand loyalty.
  • Provide first class service to our customers. Whether they are long-time RIMOWA brand ambassadors or are discovering our products for the first time, ensuring that our clients embark on their own personal RIMOWA journeys is our top priority.
Other responsibilites:

  • Load, unload and move materials either manually or with hand operated equipment
  • May perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking for the service & repair department requirements
  • Ensure that standards for safe working conditions are observed per OSHA regulations
  • Responsible of daily cleaning of work areas and equipment

  • You are interested in high quality products with tradition and curious to work on our RIMOWA products, combining luxury with our technical heritage.
  • You are experienced in a manufacturing/technical environment with hands on experience using small hand tools or experienced in a similar role.
  • You are talented in craftsmanship.
  • You have a High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • You have a Mechanical background using hand and power tools (preferred)
  • You have already worked within repairs related field/industry product (luggage)
Your skills:

  • Attention to detail and quality would be a high personality trait standard.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Organized, details-oriented, structured and a team player.
  • Proactive in how you approach clientele, build long-term relationships and approach each situation with a collaborative spirit.
  • Enthusiastic about retail/client care services and delivering memorable experiences for our clientele.
  • Be a team player, first and foremost, who is eager to learn about our products, our brand and history. A team player at RIMOWA is diplomatic, embodies our values, collaborates with their colleagues and is always there to lift the team spirit.
  • Fluent in English & German. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Start date : ASAP. Contract : Permanent. Working hours : full time.
