Description du poste

In this versatile and high-responsibility role, you will be responsible for managing the Customs team at the Kreuzlingen and Bielefeld sites. Together with your team, you will be responsible for all export and import processing. As Team Lead Customs, you will be the central point of contact for customs authorities, freight forwarders, customs agencies and internal departments. You will coordinate shipment processing and ensure the system-based maintenance and control of customs-relevant master data.
You will also check free trade and preferential agreements and ensure compliance with customs and preferential regulations. You will manage projects in the specialist area, support customs and foreign trade audits and actively drive forward the optimisation of processes. In your management role, you will promote teamwork, ensure a smooth workflow and support the further development of your employees.

Profil recherché

Required skills and experience:
  • Successfully completed training as a forwarding agent or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in customs, especially in import and export processing (EU and Switzerland)
  • Sound knowledge of customs tariff classification as well as customs and foreign trade law
  • Very good knowledge of English and IT (MS Office, ideally SAP and customs clearance software)
  • Leadership skills and a confident and assured presence
  • Structured, goal-orientated way of working and a high degree of initiative
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, assertiveness and team spirit
  • Enthusiasm for fashion and lifestyle
