With more than 25 brands Estée Lauder Companies is the global leader in prestige beauty, recognized for its skincare, make-up, fragrances and haircare products. In Switzerland, ELC has the main Supply Chain Hub for Travel Retail and EMEA.
In Travel Retail, our Distribution Centers (DCs) are organized per brand and thanks to our growth we have the pleasure to open soon two new DCs inside Switzerland. With these openings, we have to rebalance the brands across all DCs and initiate the transitions of some brands. These brand transitions are a key success factor for the opening of these DCs as well as the existing DCs and should happen without major business disturbance. Therefore we are recruiting a Supervisor who will be responsible to align and inform all involved parties about the specifics of each transitions. The incumbent has to excel in transversal leadership and cross-functional communication, to test the compliance of existing processes, and drive continuous improvements related to brand transitions.
All our DCs are partly or fully automated with more than 350 employees, in a highly regulated environment (Bonded Warehouse, Known-Shipper, IATA-dangerous goods, etc.).
- Be the expert in operations related aspects of Brand Transitions and envision, engage and enable the respective teams for each specific Brand Transition
- Guide and support local teams through challenges during Brand Transitions and ensure through Continuous Improvement that the Brand Transition processes become lean and straight forward to implement
- Initiate, coordinate and drive the synchronized execution of Brand Transitions across the DCs in line with the day-to-day operations and efforts
- Implement tools to support the brand transitions and communication of progress, outstanding tasks and challenge resolutions
- Act as a first point of contact for the various Brand Transitions or related projects
- Execution of Root Cause Analysis - session and follow up on implementation of agreed corrective/preventive actions
- Enhance existing processes and the documentation thereof to maintain a high level of Sox-compliance
- Synchronize all sending and receiving related operations

Profil recherché

- Bachelor in Economics with focus on Logistics & SCM
- Broad Experience in leading logistics operations
- Broad experience in structuring and steering projects
- Knowledge of the logistics requirements of the FMCG industry
- Experience in the application of process/quality/improvement tools and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate cross-functionally with every level within the company
- Analytical skills and the ability to set the right priorities
- Can work independently and delivers high quality in a fast changing environment
- Strong transversal leadership skills; Manages to develop/motivate people in/for the important aspects of his/her area of responsibility
- Able to lead cross-functional complex projects and determined to deliver results
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Full professional proficiency in German and English
- Understanding of Project Management tools an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP, Reporting Tool (Business Objects) and LM7 (the Warehouse Management System) an advantage
