Description du poste

The position is a key driver in managing Store Planning strategies and activities for the EU Region, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment with Retail Team. The Sr. Merchandise Planner will develop merchandise plans to maximize sales and to meet financial objectives through the analysis of sales trends and forecasts.

Profil recherché

  • Determine annual and seasonal retail targets by Store and Channel
  • Review and validate Top Down store plans with Management on a monthly base
  • Maintain weekly store-level rolling forecast and identify risk and opportunities to the plan/forecast by month
  • Track the key retail KPIs to identify underperforming results and areas of focus to improve results
  • Develop annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly merchandise plans at category level
  • Be an active participant of the OTB process
  • Define in season allocation strategies to optimize inventory and business
  • Develop in season performance, leverage key learnings into in season trading actions and reflect into next season assortment buy
  • Manage markdown activities; identify products to go on sale and define level of discount
  • Develop quantitative analysis and accurate flow inventory forecast to optimize and support business strategy, identify risks/opportunities
  • Implement new reporting package: sales, comp sales performance, KPIs, product performance, additional reporting and analytics
  • Attend weekly retail meetings to align on trading activities
 
  • Must have Master degree or above Experience; Finance, Retail Management, Business Management
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning, minimum 5 years in retail industry is preferred
  • Must have retail and product expertise in key markets within EU with apparel/fashion trend experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to interpret a high amount of data and identify the implications and required actions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to identify actions and make decisions to resolve issues with a sense of urgency
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organization and planning skills combined with flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of employees – both senior and junior
  • English fluent spoken and written, any other Language is preferred
