We are now looking for a Project Lead Warehouse Management System who will be responsible to manage the Warehouse Management System for our new distribution center in Galgenen, Switzerland. This position is part of the Project Team TREND which is a long term program enhancing the TR Supply Chain into a state of the art Distribution Network, able to absorb the Travel Retail business volatility and adaptable to changing trends.
Responsibilities:
Before Go Live (during project TREND):
- Development & implementation of operations processes together with the development and configuration of the of the Warehouse Management Software
- Develop efficient Order Scheduling, Wave- and Labor Planning Processes and implement into SAP EWM
- Supporting the Global Team to develop efficient processes and useful global templates
- Planning, realization, commissioning and ramp up of WMS for operations of the Distribution Center
After Go Live:
- Leading the team to oversee the WMS and being the Key User for SAP EWM
- Hiring & training of team members for the Flow Control Room
- Material Flow Control for efficient and effective order Management
- Order Scheduling, Waving and Labor Planning with interaction to the SAP EWM System
- Troubleshooting & problem solving with interaction to SAP EWM System
- Set up continuous improvement for WMS
- Labor & Demand Planning for Warehouse Operations

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering / IT or Logistics or other relevant course of study
- Fluent in German and English
- Min. 5 years experience in the Distribution-, Operation- or Production Planning in the Logistics Environment
- Planning & Realization of efficient Warehousing & Distribution Logistics Processes of all levels
- Experience in Order Scheduling, Wave Planning, Labor & Demand Planning for Warehouse Operations
- Experience with Warehouse Management Software, SAP EMW experience would be beneficial
- Technical understanding of SAP and Network/Server-Environments
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching and teamwork skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and decision making skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and issues - act with agility
- Ability to plan and organize in a structured way even in a pressurized and changing environment
- Experience in export business and bonded warehouse handling is a benefit
