A few months ago, On opened its new workspace On Labs in Zurich West. True to the On spirit, it is an environment that never stands still - a hub for creativity and technology where ideas move fast.

As the Hospitality Lead, you will join On's Workplace Experience Team, which owns all activities around Hospitality, Internal Events and Facility Management. You will guide a team of hosts who deliver the WOW to our On team members, as well as to guests and partners. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, thrive in a highly dynamic environment, are at ease in finding solutions to at times unexpected or unplanned situations and enjoy discovering ways of optimisation. It is important to you to build strong relationships and to partner very closely with many teams across the organisation and especially with our Internal Events as well as our Facility Management and Tech team.

Your Team:

The Hospitality team creates an environment, which fosters meaningful collaborations, positive encounters and fruitful connections. We strive to rethink the status quo and grow together to further establish On Labs Zurich as an amazing place to be, work and create.

Your Mission:

  • Promote, build and coach our On Labs Host team by being an On culture ambassador and aim to create a unique place to collaborate
  • Steer and optimise On Labs hospitality operations such as conferencing, gastronomy, and office operations including all budget aspects
  • Coordinate collaborations with partners and suppliers
  • Together with our Internal Events and Facility team, drive workplace experience across teams and functions
  • Drive and ensure clear and engaging communication around workplace aspects
  • Contribute and strategise hospitality and workplace experience topics beyond your location, to create exchange and synergies with On's other offices such as in Berlin, Portland or Vietnam.
Your Story:

  • You have 5+ years of proven experience as a hospitality manager in a high-end property as well as a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high-quality, service-oriented team
  • You have a solid understanding of hospitality operations and best practices with an attention to detail
  • You are an outstanding communicator (verbal and written) with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • You embody an entrepreneurial spirit and are proactive with a can-do attitude
  • You have demonstrated experience working independently and are able to manage complex projects whilst sticking to critical time- and deadlines
  • Fluency in German and English
