Your Mission
- Drive Technology Vision and Strategy: Propel On's technological ambitions, ensuring our organisation is primed to scale and enhance operational efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in navigating the technology landscape, setting a clear and impactful direction for the future.
- Oversee Strategic Initiatives: Work in a close alignment with the Technology Leadership Team, managing and driving strategic initiatives that span across various functions. Your role is instrumental in aligning these initiatives with On's overarching goals.
- Cultivate the Technical Program Management Team: Build, coach, and nurture a team dedicated to managing tech initiatives. Your leadership will ensure this team excels in coordinating projects that bridge the gaps between multiple departments.
- Champion Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing: Embed a culture of perpetual growth and learning within our technology hubs. Your efforts will play a key role in fostering an environment where knowledge is freely exchanged, and continuous improvement is the norm.
- Support and Guide the Technology Leadership Team: Provide robust governance and decision-making support to the technology leadership. Your analytical skills and clear presentation of considerations will be invaluable in driving informed decisions.
- Maintain a Pulse on the Technology Team: Stay intimately connected with the technology team's dynamics. Use this insight to propose and initiate changes that enhance their overall well-being, happiness, and productivity.
- Facilitate Effective Communication: Act as a vital communication bridge between the CTO, technology leadership, and the wider organisation. Your role ensures smooth and effective cross-functional collaboration throughout the company.
- Drive Organisational Structure Improvements: Continually assess and refine technology organisational structure to better support our vision and strategy. Your ability to design and implement improvements will be key in optimising our operations for success.
- With over 7 years immersed in Lean/Agile software engineering organisations, you've led substantial technology teams through strategic transformations. Your expertise lies in not just setting the direction but actively participating in the journey, ensuring execution aligns with the long term vision
- Your project management history is rich with cross-functional initiatives, showcasing your ability to unite stakeholders from diverse departments towards a common goal
- Your emotional intelligence allows you to forge trusting and strong relationships, both within your team and across the organisation. Empathy is a cornerstone of your leadership style, creating a supportive and collaborative environment
- Your leadership transcends borders, ensuring cohesive and productive collaborations, irrespective of the physical distance
- Your ability to communicate and influence ensures that your voice is not just heard but also valued at the senior leadership table
- Your program management skills stand out, characterised by a structured approach to decision-making. Yet, you maintain a strong bias towards action and speed, ensuring that accountability is never compromised.
