With more than 25 brands Estée Lauder Companies is the global leader in prestige beauty, recognized for its skincare, make-up, fragrances, and hair care products. In Switzerland, Estée Lauder has the main Supply Chain Hub for Travel Retail (TR) and EMEA.
Due to our fast-growing TR business, we are looking to expand our Indirect Procurement (IP) capabilities for Travel Retail, hence we are now hiring an Executive Manager for our Indirect Procurement TR team in Wollerau, Switzerland.

The position is directly responsible and accountable for leading the Travel Retail Indirect Procurement, category and regional strategy planning, sourcing execution, and negotiations in the indirect spend categories such as Advertising and Promotion, Stores and Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, Corporate and Professional Services, Travel and IT. The role is the Regional Lead for TR with a spend under the management of over $140M+ and growing, supporting the commercial region of TR Worldwide. Furthermore, this role will lead a team of 7 based in different countries to support all Travel Retail regions.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Leading the TR Indirect Procurement function globally; delivering year-on-year improvement in the total cost of ownership, quality, and service across all Indirect spend categories. Managing responsibility for procurement transformation and sourcing teams to drive change throughout the business. Leading the TR IP team globally with some team members being located in different geographies and time zones. Actively participating and contributing to Global functional development as a member of the Global Indirect Procurement Leadership team. Leading company-wide strategic initiatives as required within the scope of TR global.
- Managing and leading the worldwide scope of procurement activities across the region to deliver best-in-class goods and services. Proactively managing sourcing strategies and purchasing activities within the TR region, in coordination with Global IP and IP Regional teams. Driving and leading adoption of procurement practices, policy compliance, and process improvements within the TR region users. Leading community of best practices with the aim to maintain and improve process knowledge in TR regions.
- Leading the team, shaping goals and objectives. Planning resources and talent to ensure the growth of the region can be supported and enabled.
- Developing management information that informs strategy and empowers decision-making. Providing clear reporting about savings generated to management as well as to Regional and Global Indirect Procurement. Evaluating supplier capabilities and establishing sources for new technologies and markets as driven by business requirements. Measuring and managing the overall performance of suppliers implemented with KPIs. Partnering with Legal to create risk-managed contracts; implement appropriate governance models to control cost and ensure compliance with Finance and Internal Control for documentation requirements.
- University Degree or Apprenticeship in a procurement-related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a procurement function with at least 5 years in Indirect Procurement
- Extensive experience delivering successful results and managing strategic procurement activities across multiple markets/global levels for mixed categories.
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful sourcing execution
- Great oral and written negotiation skills with senior management
- Experience in leading virtual teams across different geographies
- Experience with change management & initiating and implementing change.
- Ability to manage and communicate with senior management on IP results and strategy development and execution
- Strong computer skills in Windows Office. Necessary ERP systems, SAP/Ariba preferred
- Fluent in English (writing/speaking), additional languages are a plus
