Our client is a leading company within FMCG industry. They are famous for their international presence in over 120 countries and to be leader in their specific market.
In order to manage the travel retail team, they are currently recruiting a:

Global Travel Retail Director – FMCG
Permanent contract (Geneva Area)

Objective of the position:

Reporting to the senior global director, you will be in charge of supporting and developing Travel Retail for a large brands portfolio in collaboration with global marketing teams to achieve both brands and business goals.

Your main responsibilities:

-Define brands strategy for the Travel Retail channel with global guidelines.
-Analyse market and financial information : brand performance, products launches, sell in /Sell out
-Develop business opportunities and identify potential risks in the short and long term
-Build innovation calendar and optimize line ups based on Travel Retail consumer needs.
-In charge of new product development (TR exclusive sets), briefing global teams and drive growth in the regional markets.
-Coordinate forecast process on saleable and GWPs.
-Collaborate with global merchandising team with brands guidance
-Establish budget and marketing presentations, line up files and business reporting.
-Maintain a thorough understanding of diverse brands, sales objectives and marketing programs.
-Adjust and implement different brands strategies driven by the travel retail channel as well as global consumer base in the regions.

Profil recherché

  • You are graduated with Bachelor’s degree or a Master
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar positions with deep knowledge in the travel retail industry.
  • Familiar with multicultural, international and complex environments.
  • Entrepreneurship mindset
  • Ability to work and co-ordinate projects in a flexible and fast-changing environment
  • Perfect presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Broad strategic and analytical thinker
  • Teamwork: motivating, developing others
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Good MS Office/IT skills
