Our client is a leading company within the luxury industry. They are famous for their international presence in over 120 countries and to be leader in their specific market. In order to reinforce their Travel Retail team based in Geneva, they are currently recruiting a :
AREA SALES MANAGER – TRAVEL RETAIL EUROPE
Permanent contract (Geneva)
Objective of the position :
The Area Sales Manager will be in charge of developing sales on his/her territory (Europe゠Travel Retail), on both the sell-in and the sell-out aspects. Meeting with buyers, planning orders, activities, budgets for each year. Visiting store to verify the proper implementation of the plan, to provide training & implement the trade Marketing within the shops etc…
Your main responsibilities :
•Responsible for Sales and business development in Europe.
•Collaborate with the Regional TR manager in planning Sales & A&P investments in his area of responsibility.
•Control and assure the coherence of the final execution of the planned Advertising and Promotional activities.
•Build and maintain the relationship with business partners.
•Provide the highest level of service to key clients in order to build strong and lasting relationships with Travel Retail players.
•Achieve and increase brand visibility at store level.
•Establishing new business with new partners in Europe, both DF stores and airlines.
•Provide training to the Travel Retail operator staff on brand and product knowledge.
•Analyse business progress, providing market analysis and recommendations.
•You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries in Travel Retail (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food & beverage, wine & spirits, consumer electronics, etc…).
•Fluent in English (French or German would be a plus).
•Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular.
•VERY open to Travel internationally (50% of the time).
•Familiar with multicultural and international environment/Matrix organisation.
•Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
•Perfect presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
